Available is silver, satin black, or charcoal, it is an excellent choice for cast iron exhaust manifolds and headers.

Thermal Barrier is used for high performance applications where there is a need to contain the heat in the header tube. This increases the flow of the exhaust and increases performance. The added protection also makes for increased cool down times. Thermal barriers can be used in many other places where you need to contain, reflect, or protect from heat. Other uses are firewalls, race seats, floorboards and exhaust shields. Coatings can withstand over 2000 F. New headers and pipes have a three year guarantee, after which customers will be responsible for a re-blasting and a reprocessing charge.
